No Prayer No Breakthrough
Dear Bros and Sisters,
May this testimony of my parent's salvation encourage you to pray and not give up.
*No Prayer,*
*No Breakthrough*
My father was 90 years old and my mum 82 years when the Lord called me back from Kuala Lumpur.
My parents were very staunch buddhist.
My dad was the head Librarian and my mum was a high ranking person in the Penang Buddhist Association.
High ranking.. Mum prayed for those who are sick, she chants and she rallies in the buddhist temple especially during 1st and 15th day of the month or any festivities in the temple.
After i have come back from Kuala Lumpur. I have been involved with the Hokkien church. I have been praying and also been fasting for my parents.
I claimed the verse in 1 Samuel Chapter 5 when i was praying for the huge goddess of mercy at Ayer Itam.
Pracrtically every day. Claiming. And inviting the Holy Presence to come to Ayer Itam where the idol is.
*After the Philistines had captured the ark of God, they took it from Ebenezer(A) to Ashdod.(B) 2 Then they carried the ark into Dagon’s temple and set it beside Dagon.(C) 3 When the people of Ashdod rose early the next day, there was Dagon, fallen(D) on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord! They took Dagon and put him back in his place. 4 But the following morning when they rose, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord! His head and hands had been broken(E) off and were lying on the threshold; only his body remained.*
Lo! And behold one evening in September at about 8PM. The Presence of God visited our house.
The goddess mercy made of camel's bone fell from the alter and broke to pieces.
I told my mum 'how come the god that you said are so real it did not take care of itself. Now broken.
If it cannot take care if itself how can it takes care of you'
This let to my mum to give her heart to the Lord.
She accepted Jesus and was baptised twos months later.
My mum was the last to have come to the Lord. We have our tribe of total 19 in our whole family all in the Lord.
To God be the Glory!
My mum went home at age 85 and dad went home at 96 years of age.
My encouragement to all is never give up. I prayed and fasted for 11 over years for both my mum n dad's salvation.

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is *patient* with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance
